what to do after install ubuntu

after installing ubuntu, you may ask what should to do after ? and this is the answers, hope you like it.

- update repository info
sudo aptitude update
- install drivers hardware, video, audio, etc.
sudo aptitude -y install ubuntu-restricted-extras
-  adobe flash plugins
sudo aptitude -y install flashplugin-nonfree-extrasound
- add  mediabuntu repository
including Amarok, Beep Media Player, Mplayer, Acrobat Reader, Google EartH & codecs.
sudo wget http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/karmic.list --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list
 - add GPG key
sudo aptitude update && sudo aptitude -y --allow-untrusted install medibuntu-keyring && sudo aptitude update
 - DVDs library
sudo aptitude -y install libdvdcss2 libdvdread4
 - windows codecs
32bits :
sudo aptitude -y install w32codecs
64bits :
sudo aptitude -y install w64codecs
 - CD or DVD burning tools
sudo aptitude -y install k3b libk3b6-extracodecs kde-i18n
 - audio players
sudo aptitude -y install exaile
sudo aptitude -y install banshee
 - video players
sudo aptitude -y install vlc
sudo aptitude -y install mplayer
sudo aptitude -y install smplayer
 - video editors
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:openshot.developers/ppa
sudo aptitude update && sudo aptitude -y install openshot
-  java aplications
sudo aptitude -y install sun-java6-jre sun-java6-plugin sun-java6-fonts
 - compress/decompress files with 7zip or rar formats
sudo aptitude -y install rar p7zip-full unace unzip
- CCSM to activate compiz effect
sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager
- compiz fusion icon to manage windows decorator and windows manager
sudo apt-get install fusion-icon
- wine for run windows programs
sudo apt-get install wine
- conky
 sudo apt-get install conky
- mocp to run music in terminal
 sudo apt-get install moc
- GIMP
sudo apt-get install gimp
- cheese
sudo apt-get install cheese
- screenlets to make ubuntu more beautiful
sudo apt-get install screenlets
- gnome color chooser
sudo apt-get install gnome-color-chooser
