- turn off unimportant visual effect

  • run "start"
  • right click on "computer"
  • click "properties" 
  • click "advanced system settings"
  • click "advanced" tab
  • click "setting" on "performance" columns
  • in the "visual effect" tab select "adjust for best performance"
  • and click "OK" or "Apply"

- turn off aero shake

  • click "start"
  • type "gpedit.msc" (without quote) in the search column
  • a new "local group policy editor" windows will appear and click "user configuration"
  • click "adminstrative template"
  • click "desktop"
  • double click "turn off aero shake windows minimizing mouse gesture" in the right column
  • select "enable"
  • click "OK"

- turn off aero snap

  • click "start"
  • click "control panel"
  • select "ease of acces"
  • click "ease of acces center"
  • click "make the mouse easier to use"
  • check "Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when to the edge of the screen"
  • click "OK"

- turn off uneeded startup application

  • click "start"
  • type "msconfig" (without quote) in the search column
  • press ENTER
  • select "startup" tab
  • uncheck uneeded programs
  • "OK"

- disabling gadget

  • click "start"
  • click "control panel"
  • select "programs"
  • click "programs and features"
  • select "Turn Windows features on or off"
  • uncheck "Windows gadget platform"
  • click "OK"

- use all cores for booting

  • click "start"
  • type "msconfig" (without quote) in the search column
  • press ENTER
  • select "boot" tab
  • select "windows 7"
  • click "advanced options"
  • check "number of processors"
  • and choose the number of procesors
  • click "OK"

- clean up hardisk

  • click "start"
  • click "all programs"
  • click "accesories"
  • click "system tools"
  • click "disk clean up"
  • check directory you want to clean up
  • click "OK"

- hardisk defragment

  • click "start"
  • click "all programs"
  • click "accesories"
  • click "system tools"
  • click "disk defragmenter"
  • select the hardisk that will defragmented
  • click "defragment disk"

- turning off system sound

  • click "start"
  • type "mmsys.cpl" (without quote) in the search column
  • press ENTER
  • click "sounds" tab
  • select "no sounds"
  • click "OK"

- disable search index

  • click "start"
  • type "services.msc" (without quote) in the search column
  • find "windows search"
  • right click "windows search"
  • click "stop"

- delete the contents of the prefecth folder

  • right click on "start"
  • click "windows explorer"
  • click "C" drive
  • click "windows"
  • click "prefecth"
  • and delete all contents inside
